Now for the crib ...

We are going to be ordering our crib this weekend! (There is a picture located on the left - lady bugs make it look very girly but we can see past that!) We have already started on the nursery, but next weekend Chris will be working diligently with his father by his side to hopefully finish it up ... so he says! :) I have properly washed all of Jackson's bedding and clothing that he has already received from all his loved ones! We have our next doctor's appointment February 6, 2009. We aren't having another ultrasound, however I still have to post pictures from our last one on January 15, 2009.

Jackson is kicking

Hello! I am happy to say that Saturday, January 24th, 2009 Chris and I were both able to feel Jackson kick for the first time! It was truely the most amazing thing I have ever experienced, well besides marrying Chris! It was 9am, and I awoke to a kick. I called for Chris who was watching T.V. in the living room, and he came running down the hallway yelling, "Is he kicking?!" (It was so cute!) We sat there for the next half hour feeling our son move inside me. I am blessed with all these wonderful moments and men in my life! **Jackson has been moving non-stop now! He is a regular athlete in there!**

23 Weeks

This is my pregnant belly at 23 weeks! I can't believe how fast it is going, and how much more I still have to grow. According to my pregnancy update, Jackson is over 1lb. now! I can't believe my little boy is so big! We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I'll have more pictures to share! Hope everyone is staying safe and warm with this weather!

Should I be worried??

We were driving home from a birthday party today, and we happened to come to red light where there was an infant in the backseat. Chris and I proceeded to scrutinize how the infant was seemingly crammed into the backseat. To us it seemed the rear facing car seat was too close to the window and too close to the back of the passenger side seat. Chris then made a comment that I wasn't sure if I should be worried or just remind myself that I have to make sure to teach him all that I know (which isn't much)! He said, "Plus, the car seat is facing the wrong direction!" I thought at first he was kidding, however he wasn't! Oh, how we both have much to learn! God love him!

Starting things off ...

Hello everyone! I just wanted to start this site since we are going to be adding a new addition to the family. I thought this would be the easiest way to keep everyone updated on our lives!

We have a lot of things going on in our lives right now. We have decided to name our first born son, Jackson Scott Kelly. We had it narrowed down to two, and this won out. We are starting to design the look of his room, and I just ordered the bedding last night online at Pottery Barn Kids. I am so excited for it to come! The bedding and the theme of the nursery is located on the left. I have so many more ideas for the room, that I can't wait to start decorating!
